✿ Pulau Redang , Terengganu ✿

Redang Island, locally known as Pulau Redang is one of the largest islands off the east coast of Malaysia. It is one of nine islands, which form a marine park, and which offer snorkeling and diving opportunities. Access is from Merang or Kuala Terengganu on boats operated by the resorts.

 I had a trip with my family and friends, where we stay at Redang Pelangi Resort for 3day & 2night .  The resort privacy, tranquillity, and their friendly staff is enough to bring me back next time.  Their service is not what we called "not bad" but it's the cordial and sincere service that I'm assure you can get here. It beach is long white sand with plenty of privacy if that is what you want.  The food was good.  There was always a choice and always lots of it. Breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner and always a supply of bread/jam/toast. 

The best part of the entire trip was the beautiful sea.The beach is long and wide with beautiful powder-white coral sand and boasts amazing sunrise and sunset views.There were two snorkeling trips a day included. The boat drivers were nice, knowledgeable and helpful. The divers were extremely skilled and they make us feel protected. The bar was in the most beautiful setting. We visited a few of the other resorts on the island and they all seemed quite soulless compared the the Pelangi. We would certainly stay here again. 

To sum up - if you are fussy or can't live without luxury then this resort isn't for you. If you are chilled out and positive then this is the place.

Gu Hyo-seon played by Seo Woo
Though relatively new to the acting scene, Seo Woo has been praised for successfully portraying the complex and multi-faceted character of Gu Hyo-seon: a character cute and charming in her youth who turns malicious in her later years. The only daughter of the owner of Daeseongdoga, Hyo-seon is the quintessential Cinderella; she is nice, kind, and full of charm. In the beginning, she's mostly unaware of the coldness with which her stepmother and stepsister treat her. But after realizing Eun-jo's true feelings towards her, she begins to hate her too. In the drama, he plays the role of Jeong-u, who carries a deep unrequited love for Eun-jo. When he was in middle school, he was a fat boy weighing almost 100 kilograms and nobody was nice to him: nobody, but Eun-jo, who often cooked for him. Gang-suk (played by Lee Mi-sook) and her daughter Eun-jo (played by Moon Geun-young) come to the Daeseongdoga brewery, a brewery of the traditional liquor "makgeolli." Gang-suk (known for her extensive experience with men) seduces the owner of the brewery, Gu Dae-seong (played by Kim Gab-soo), and the two get married.
Even though Hyo-seon (played by Seo Woo) loves her new stepmother and stepsister wholeheartedly, Eun-jo has trouble opening up her heart, even though she's a kindhearted, gentle soul deep down. Gi-hun (a helper who is like family, played by Chun Jung-myung) falls in love with Eun-jo and the three get caught in the ever-changing dynamics of love, hate, and misunderstanding. Eun-jo also has feelings for Gi-hun, but Gi-hun leaves for the military before he can learn Eun-jo's true feelings.

Eight years pass and Jeong-u (played by Taecyeon), the son of one of Gang-suk's many boyfriend's, comes back to find Eun-jo, who he fell in love with in his youth. Once an obese boy with few friends, he's now become a handsome and charming young man. Gi-hun also returns to Daeseongdoga around the same time, having completed his military service and studies abroad. During their absence, Eun-jo became even more involved in the family business, becoming a huge help to her stepfather. Eun-jo and Gi-hun (along with Hyo-seon) join forces to save the family business from Hong juga, the nation's leading maker of traditional liquor who is trying to take over the brewery.

Gu Dae-seong, ignorant of the ties between Eun-jo and Gi-hun, believed that Gi-hun returned to Daeseongdoga to help the business; when he learns that Gi-hun is the illegitimate son of Hongjuga, he dies from a stroke. After his death, Gang-suk starts treating Hyo-seon with unusual coldness. As Hongjuga puts more and more pressure on Daeseongdoga, Eun-jo, Gi-hun, and Hyo-seon struggle to preserve the family brewery legacy. In the midst of it all, there hangs the unresolved issue of Jeong-u's love for Eun-jo, the love between Eun-jo and Gi-hun, and Hyo-seon's love for Gi-hun.

I recently watched " Protect the Boss" in Astro. I just found it interesting and end up watching the entire episodes in KimchiDrama.

Synopsis:


Noh Eun Seol (Choi Kang Hee) was the tough leader of her high school girl gang. She has trouble finding permanent full time employment and is stuck with several part time jobs due to her past history.

The story kick start on one night, when her group at work goes out for drinks, while at a lounge her boss tries to hit on her and another secretary. Eun Seol, being a tough girl, decides that she will not put up with this harassment any longer. Eun Seol attacks her boss and then tries to escape, but his gang of minions runs after her. On her way out, she meets Cha Ji Heon (Ji Sung) in also in the hallway. The gang of minions mistakenly believe that Eun Seol and Ji Heon are together. Thus, when the lights go out Eun Seol uses that moment to beat up the minions and escape like a thief in the night. On the other hand, Ji Heon, in shock, remains in the lounge and is left at the mercy of minions.













Now that Eun Seol can no longer go back to her job, she goes to several interviews around town. One of the interviews takes place at Ji Heon’s family’s company. Cha Moo Won is Ji Heon’s cousin, were interviewing people to be Ji Heon’s secretary. Since, Ji Heon is unfocused, demanding, and childish, Moo Won has to ensure that the candidate will be able to take being rebuffed. When Eun Seol is verbally assaulted for her under pr education, Eun Seol rebukes the interviewer, exhibiting that she is qualified for the position. Moo Won, seeing her qualifications and against the advice of his staff, hires Eun Seol.
When Eun Seol sees Ji Heon, she immediately remembers him from the lounge. However, Ji Heon upon seeing Eun Seol only states that he hates her poopy head hairstyle (half up half down, with funky bun directly on top of head). Ji Heon says that it reminds him of the girl that got him into trouble at the nightclub. The incident has Ji Heon’s corporation in trouble. His father, the president of the corporation, heard about the incident and organized a group of thugs to go after Eun Seol’s former co-workers. When the scandal was leaked by Ji Heon’s former secretary, who was fired because Ji Heon was left unprotected, the media went into a frenzy and the accused the corporation of mafia connections.

In addition to being a public relations nightmare, the incident also made Ji Heon’s father push Ji Heon to straighten up and take a larger role in the corporation. Ji Heon father wants to prove to the the board that Ji Heon would be fit successor. If Ji Heon did not clean up his act, the role would go up to his cousin Moo Won irritating his father. Moo Won and his mother, the president’s sister in law, have been scheming for a while to get the perfect goal-orientated Moo Won to be named as the successor of the corporation.
Ji Heon has some major challenges, before he will seen as the future of the corporation; he doesn’t come to work on time, has a fear of making public speeches, has no passion for the work, may also have OCD, and falls asleep in meetings. While Ji Heon believes that Moo Won hired Eun Seol to make him look like a chump at first, soon he is delighted with Eun Seol’s resistance, street smarts, and fighting talent. As Ji Heon begins to admire her, he gives her more responsibility, including finding the lady with poopy hair that got him into the fight at the lounge.

When Eun Seol becomes overwhelmed with the task of finding herself and dealing with Ji Heon’s OCD , Moo Won comforts and protects her. Ji Heon discovers the special relationship and becomes jealous of Moo Won. Ji Heon wants Eun Seol all for himself and become more mature to attain her. Meanwhile, another woman wants Ji Heon, Seo Na Yoon. Na Yoon left Ji Heon, when he really needed her by his side, now he is unable to forgive her . On top of the abandonment, Na Yoon also hooked up with Moo Won. Moo Won is in love with Na Yoon, but ultimately she rejects him, because she wants to be the heir of the corporation, not the cousin.

As Eun Seol helps Ji Heon overcome his fears and take control of his life, Eun Seol and Ji Heon begin to have feelings for each other. However, Eun Seol also has feelings for the man that gave her a chance in the first place, Moo Won. After Na Yoon’s consistent rejection of Moo Won, Moo Won moves on and attempts to win Eun Seol’s heart instead. When Na Yoon discovers that the men that she once had on a leash are no longer running after her,  she goes through her own period of self discovery.

Questions to be answered:

Who will be the next leader of the corporation? Why does Ji Heon have so many hiccups? Will Ji Heon and Moo Won’s family accept Eun Seol as part of the family? Will Moo Won break free from his mother? Will Na Yoon stop acting so self-involved? How many times can I see Eun Seol dominating her opponents? Do you like white collar crime?

My opinion:

For a person like me who does not knows Korean much and still watching the drama with English subs including the script made me actually roll on the floor while watching it. So far, it is the throughout most hilarious Korean drama I have seen so far.

It features romantic comedies and funny fights between the characters. Every character was well executed with each other. In the entire drama, the director focused on body/physical gags which made the show more hilarious.  However, this drama was predictable,  but the acting by the actors made interesting enough to watch it. After the first episode the story gets better and better. This drama has every substance which makes a comedy drama successful.

I will recommend this drama to everyone to watch it because this drama will not disappoint you. It's worth watching!

Well..I was one of those who used to wonder, whats so great about Won Bin, that he is often linked as very good looking man in korean movie industry . I had this impression after watchibng Autumn in my heart. I mean, yes , he is kinda cute and introduce the term " flower boy" in korean industry, but there is so many good looking man in korea entertainment industry.. However, as time goes by, I changed my mind about this man. I mean, Won Bin has a charm that is so unique and he can just attract you, without you even realizing it.

A great actor, shy and yet so charming in his own way..Does man like this exist too? He made me wonder.

He first gained wide popularity in 2000 after starring in the television drama Autumn in My Heart and has since gained critical acclaim for his performances in the films Taegukgi, Mother and The Man from Nowhere.

He is well known for his shy, introspective, and quiet, character traits that followed him thru..
Won was appointed as UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador of the Korean Committee on September 6, 2007. He has participated in various programs and charity events in Korea for UNICEF from that time on, and has appeared in several promotional videos.

TVXQ group debuted in 2003 under SM Entertainment and there were five members.  However, the group went on a hiatus and three members (Micky, Hero, and Xiah) recently resurfaced in Japan as a new group, JYJ.  The remaining two guys, U-Know Yunho and Max Changmin, are still in the group and recently released their latest single and video, Keep Your Head Down .

This is a very crisp video.  The production value of these videos is enough to impress me. I guess I don't have to explain the dance movements with Yunho..

✿ No Accidents ✿

Do you believe that there are no accidents in life?

Everything happens for a reason. Every people we meet will have a role in our lives, be it small or big. Some will hurt, betray and make us cry to become stronger. I had the chance to follow my entire KLDOC team to Taman Negara, Pahang, as part of our team building event. We left on Saturday , 28 April 2012 and returned on 30 April 2012.

No holiday or vacation in the tropics is complete without visiting a tropical rainforest. And there's no grandeur than to visit the TAMAN NEGARA, reputed to be The Oldest Jungle , The Best Kept Tropical Rainforest & The Great Natural Wonders of the world. By that it means that Taman Negara's flora & fauna has evolved naturally over hundreds of millions of years without any disruption or major calamities.

Taman Negara was declared for conservation in 1938 and has become Malaysia's premier national park and the largest in the country covering over 4343 square kilometres (434,300 hectares) of primary forest, spansacross three states Kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang - and is situated in the centre of the Peninsula Malaysia. Taman Negara is the most extensive protected area of pristine, lowland, evergreen rainforest in the country. Taman Negara originated from a Pahang State Legislationin the district of Jerantut.  The stated purpose of Taman Negara is "to utilise the land within the park in perpetuity, for the propagation, protection and preservation of indigeneous flora and fauna".

We have opt to stay in Mutiara Taman Negara, a 3 star resort, which offers variety range of chalets for our stay here.

During our stay here we had a lot on outdoor and classroom actitivies. Of course, the outdoor activities were mind blowing. We went for night jungle tracking, canopy walk, visited the orang asli village and ended it with the rapid shooting river cruise..

Overall, it was an joyful moment and for those who loves nature and want to get away  from the tiring city life..don't forget to visit Taman Negara Malaysia..

✿Big Bang Comeback Special ✿

After confirming their official comeback plans yesterday, Big Bang will now be meeting with their fans through an hour-long SBS special called “Big Bang Comeback Show” on February 27th!



Did you think Big Bang is already in hiatus? well no. As YG-Life announced that there will be a special album coming up and it will be called “Still Alive“.

There will be new tracks namely Monster which will be their title song,  Still Alive, Bingle Bingle, Feeling, and Ego. The will also include familiar “Alive” album tracks Bad Boy, Blue, Fantastic Baby and Love Dust.
