Live Performance:

English Translation:

Nothing was as easy as I imagined
Love, now that wasn’t easy either
Throwing away my deceived heart
That was what she wanted me to do (Feels so sad)

It would be nice if I could get another change
It would be nice if my heart would be accepted
Anyhow, after turning around

No one in the world can replace you
I love you more than anyone else

Oh Yeah,
Oh Yeah Oh Yeah, Yeah, Yeah

Oh Yeah,
Oh Yeah Oh Yeah, Yeah, Yeah

I love that smile on that face and I love you

Oh Yeah,
Oh Yeah Oh Yeah, Yeah, Yeah
Oh Yeah, Oh, Oh,
Oh Yeah, I’m Feelin’ Good
Oh Yeah, Yeah, Yeah
Oh Yeah, Yeah, Yeah

Yo, there’s saying "love changes"
And those words others cautioned me
Is hitting like a bull’s eye at this very moment
And my mind is spinning, and spinning and it spins.

I like it like that
Crashing down like a broken pair of wings
As I see faded picture of flowers
My heart crumbles down without any beat
And I’m Running towards you for you

No one in the world can replace you
I am the person who’s loving you at this very moment

Oh Yeah,
Oh Yeah Oh Yeah, Yeah, Yeah

Oh Yeah,
Oh Yeah Oh Yeah, Yeah, Yeah

I love that smile on that face and I love you

Oh Yeah, Oh, Oh,
Oh Yeah, I’m Feelin’ Good
Oh Yeah, Yeah, Yeah
Oh Yeah, Yeah, Yeah

✿ Women ✿

A father came home and found his three children were outside, still in their pajamas, playing in the mud, with empty food boxes and wrappers strewn all around the front yard.

The door of his wife's car was open, as was the front door to the house and there was no sign of the dog.

Proceeding into the entry, he found an even bigger mess. A lamp had been knocked over, and the throw rug was wadded against one wall.

In the front room the TV was loudly blaring a cartoon, and the family room was strewn with toys and various items of clothing.

In the kitchen, dishes filled the sink, breakfast food was spilled on the counter, the fridge door was open wide, dog food was spilled on the floor,a broken glass lay under the table, and a small pile of sand was spread by the back door.

He quickly headed up the stairs, stepping over toys and more piles of clothes, looking for his wife. He was worried she may be ill, or that something serious had happened. He was met with a small trickle of water as it made its way out the bathroom door. As he peered inside he found wet towels, scummy soap and more toys strewn over the floor.

Miles of toilet paper lay in a heap and toothpaste had been smeared over the mirror and walls. As he rushed to the bedroom, he found his wife still curled up in the bed in her pajamas, reading a novel.

She looked up at him, smiled, and asked how his day went. He looked at her bewildered and asked, "What happened here today?"

She again smiled and answered, "You know every day when you come home from work and you ask me what in the world did I do today?"

"Yes," was his incredulous reply.

She answered, "Well, today I didn't do it."

Women can do everything; men can do the rest.✿‿✿

✿ LifEhoUse - HaNgiNg By A MoMeNt ✿

Wow........another great performance by lifehouse

♥ Lyrics:

Desperate for changing
Starving for truth
I'm closer to where I started
Chasing after you
I'm falling even more in love with you
Letting go of all I've held onto
I'm standing here until you make me move
I'm hanging by a moment here with you

Forgetting all I'm lacking
Completely incomplete
I'll take your invitation
You take all of me now...

I'm falling even more in love with you
Letting go of all I've held onto
I'm standing here until you make me move
I'm hanging by a moment here with you
I'm living for the only thing I know
I'm running and not quite sure where to go
And I don't know what I'm diving into
Just hanging by a moment here with you

There's nothing else to lose
There's nothing else to find
There's nothing in the world
That can change my mind
There is nothing else
There is nothing else
There is nothing else

Desperate for changing
Starving for truth
I'm closer to where I started
Chasing after you....

Just hanging by a moment (here with you)
Hanging by a moment (here with you)
Hanging by a moment here with you

✿ Dil Bole Hadippa!!! ✿

Details:

Title: Dil Bole Hadippa!!!
Language : Hindi
Producer: Aditya Chopra
Director: Anurag Singh
Starring: Rani Mukherjee, Shahid Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Dalip Tahil, Rakhi Sawant, Sherlyn Chopra
Music: Pritam
Lyrics: Saideep Sahni, Joshilay
Releasing date: 18 September 2009

Synopsis:

In a yearly ritual, two friends from India and Pakistan (Anupam Kher and Dalip Tahil) meet and pit their local teams to win the `Aman Trophy’. Beaten nine years in a row, Kher’s character summons his London-based cricketer son and uses every emotional trick in the book to use his cricketing talents for a win. The team’s owner, played by Anupam Kher, turns to his son Rohan, played by Shahid Kapur. Rohan, who plays county cricket in England, is at first reluctant but eventually he takes over as coach and captain.  He also decides to hold auditions for new players. Seeing this as an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity Veera decides to try her luck, but is shunted out. That’s when she decides to disguise herself as a man and show `em what she’s got.

Conclusion:

Dil Bole Hadippa, directed by Anurag Singh, is set, in a mythical Punjab where fields are always swaying in the wind, colourfully dressed men and women are always waiting to break out into a vigorous dance, and everyone cheerfully chomps on sugarcane and drinks lassi.

Among the aspirants who hope to play under the new captain is Veera Kaur, a feisty, cricket-mad-girl, played by Rani Mukherjee. She becomes Veer, the most delicate Sardar you’ve ever seen, and joins the team. What follows is love, misunderstanding and of course a climactic triumph of the will.

Dil Bole Hadippa is inspired by the 2006 high school romantic-comedy titled " She’s The Man" , in which a girl disguises herself as her brother to get on a soccer team. Of course the story has been thoroughly modified to meet the Punjabi culture and life style...

And Dil Bole Hadippa! is nothing without Rani Mukherjee. Excelling in every sphere from her fab dance act as a man, or her comic timing, or convincing us of her character’s commitment to the game, Mukherjee is astounding. Add to that her new look complete with a trimmed down figure, dazzling eyes and a never-ending smile. Shahid Kapoor as the no-nonsense captain is delightful as well, and the two lead actors share a mischievous, crackling equation.  Eventually , Dil Bole Hadippa… is worth seeing for the sweetness and charm that Rani and Shahid Kapoor ( he is an eye catch for sure) conjure up. Catch it if you have nothing else going on this weekend!!

✿Lie To Me ✿

Another one of the Korean drama that I really enjoyed watching after Coffee Prince. Looks like I am getting the hang of Korean dramas.

Title    :  Lie to Me
Genre: Romance, comedy
Episodes: 16
Broadcast network: SBS

 ♥ Summary:

Lets look at the background story. Yoon Eun Hye plays Gong Ah Jung, an official of Korea's Ministry of Culture who is already in her late 20's, but still single while her friends are all married.

With great pressure from her bestfriend, Soo Ran (Hong Soo Hyun), Ah Jung lied that she's already married. This fact has become a big deal for Soo Ran as she still believes that Ah Jung still has feelings for her husband, Jae Boem (Rye Seong Soo), who is also Ah Jung's first love.

Later in the story, Ah Jung met Ki Joon, a young CEO of a well-known hotel, World Hotel. And that's when the rumour has begun spreading like wild fire that she and Ki Joon secretly got married. Things has gotten way out of hand when even Ki Joon's business associates found out about their secret marriage. It got way more complicated when Ki Joon's ex-fiance returns to Korea after 3 years that they've broken up. By this time, Ah Jung has already fallen in love with Ki Joon and I believe Ki Joon also has feelings for her as well.

♥Review :

It's  good. Some people say that Secret Garden is way much better, but for my taste this drama is more realistic, sweet and so romantic that I'm very positive anyone will fall in love with its story. I came across this drama by accident.

I have to compliment also the entire cast. All of them played their part well. Every expression of each character have been perfectly portrayed and captured in this drama. Of course, the director, its writer must have been really good to come up with such a new taste of drama that I'm sure will be remembered for all time.

If you haven't watched it, I insist that you do watch it. You will NOT get bored. You'll end up finding yourself laughing and sobbing as well. Anyway, I guess crazy isn't that bad when you fall in love as you tend to become one yourself.

Also, her bubbly performance here definitely needs some praising. I know that she's good in crying scenes, but her performance here is even more touching. This is a great come back for her. And like what they've been calling her on the net, she really deserves the title, "The Queen of all Romantic Comedies".

I'm not familiar with his partner though, Kang Ji Hwan as Hyun Ki Joon. But, I don't care. He's cute and I love his acting. Great chemistry between both the leads. Definite recommendation.

✿ Our Thoughts ✿

Our thoughts are created by our mind, which is constantly helping us to interpret the world around us, describing what’s happening and trying to make sense of it by helping us interpret events, sights, sounds etc.

Without even realizing it
, we are interpreting and giving our own meanings to everything happening around us – pleasant or nasty, dangerous or safe.

Because of our previous experiences, our upbringing and family values, we may well make very different interpretations of situations to someone else. These interpretations we give events result in physical and emotional feelings.

Particular types of thoughts tend to lead to particular emotions.

Thoughts of being in danger and not being able to cope result in anxiety and fear.

Thoughts of being treated unfairly and not standing for it result in anger and frustration.

Thoughts of everything being hopeless, feeling totally worthless, no-one liking you, lead to depression.

Automatic thoughts can be words, an image, a memory or a physical sensation, often based on a sense of ‘just knowing’.

We tend to automatically believe our thoughts, which are based on emotions rather than facts.

They are automatic and just pop into our head.

They are ours and can be quite specific, based on our experiences.

They are habitual and persistent. Our thoughts seem to repeat over and over, and the more they repeat, the more believable they seem, setting off a whole new chain of new related events that lead us to feeling worse and worse.

✿ LifeHouSe - BrOkeN✿

Lifehouse is definitely one of the best group I have encountered so far..I just love their songs..
Such a raw talent...

Broken is for sure one of the best songs sung to date by them...
Just loves the overall aspect of this song..I can listen to it everyday and still feel the beating of my heart listening to it.

♥ Lyrics:

The broken clock is a comfort
It let's me sleep tonight
Maybe it can stop tomorrow
From stealing all my time
I am here still waiting
I still have my doubts
I am damaged at best
Like you've already figured out

I'm falling apart
I'm barely breathing
With a broken heart
That's still beating
In the pain
There is healing
In your name
I find meaning
So I'm holding on, I'm holdin' on, I'm holdin' on
Barely holding on to you

The broken locks were a warning
You got inside my head
Tried my best to be guarded
I'm an open book instead
I still see your reflection
Inside my eyes
That are looking for purpose
There still looking for life

I'm falling apart
I'm barely breathing
With a broken heart
That's still beating
In the pain (In the pain)
Is there healing
In your name (In your name)
I find meaning
So I'm holding on (I'm still holdin'), I'm holdin' on
(I'm still holdin'), I'm holdin' on (I'm still holdin')
I'm barely holding on to you

Hanging on another day
Just to see what you will throw my way
And I'm hanging on to the words you say
You said that I will, will be OK
Broken light on the freeway
Left me here alone
I may have lost my way now
Haven't forgotten my way home

I'm falling apart
I'm barely breathing
With a broken heart
That's still beating
In the pain (In the pain)
There is healing
In your name (In your name)
I find meaning
So I'm holding on (I'm still holdin'), I'm holdin' on (I'm still holdin' on), I'm holdin' on (I'm still holdin')
Barely holding on to you
I'm holding on (I'm still holdin'), I'm holdin' on (I'm still holdin' on), I'm holdin' on (I'm still holdin')
Barely holding on to you

 ♥ Summary ♥

Third Watch , is a tv series which were supposed to give us a glimpse into how all three elements – police, firefighters and paramedics – worked together in New York City.

This show had everything that those of us who had worked on the Third Watch (3PM – 11PM or 4PM – 12AM) were used to.  Anyone who has worked the shift knows that it’s one of the busiest shifts in New York City.  This is when the shit hits the fan – rush hour accidents, alcohol-induced muscle matches outside bars, out of control fires started by faulty heaters – these are the hours when things are hopping.  I worked this shift for eight years and I can honestly say that, while there was some down time, for the most part, when the action happened, it was non-stop.

Third Watch’s episodes threw viewers right into the mix.  We were introduced to the police, firefighters and paramedics whose headquarters borders the fictional locale of King and Arthur.  (There are actual streets in New York City with those names – they just don’t intersect.)  The episode opened with the men and women of “Camelot” getting down and dirty right at the start of their shift.  Viewers got to see what it’s like being a rookie paramedic working his first nasty car accident.  They learned what it’s like for a rookie cop on his first day of patrol.  They saw what it’s like for firemen running into full-blown fires, never knowing if this fire might be their last.  They learned about the danger involved for any first responder – not just cops – when there is a weapon involved.

But Third Watch wasn’t just about showing viewers the drama…the horrors…of working the third shift.  It was also about the camaraderie, the family issues, the politics of the jobs.  The makers of Third Watch wanted viewers to see what the jobs were like on personal levels – guys and girls trying to make ends meet, trying to have a family life outside of a very demanding job on an equally demanding shift, people truly caring for people.  They also wanted viewers to see the lighter moments – the practical jokes, the nicknames, the tom-foolery – the kind of stuff that takes place to help lighten the burden of the harsher moments of the job.

There was a focus on the human side of the job.  That was what made this show different from most.  Yes, there were crime scenes and fires and accidents, but the show focused more on the way these things affected the humanity of the police, firefighters and paramedics called to the scene.  Third Watch wasn’t a cop show – crimes happened on a show to show basis, never stretching over more than one episode.  Sure, you would see certain characters again, but they were involved in something different in each episode.  This was realistic – if you walk a beat day after day, you’re bound to run into the same individuals hanging out on the same corners.
In watching the retrospective featurette and learning what went into making Third Watch, I have to give kudos to the creators.  It was a stroke of genius to combine police, fire and paramedics rather than simply focusing on one department or the other.  This was totally unchartered territory and it’s what made Third Watch unique.  Using actual police and firefighters as consultants was also a stroke of genius in that it ensured that much of the show would be believable.  Having them appear in cameos and sometimes recurring roles was just as intelligent.  Who better to play a fireman than a real fireman, right?
I also have to thank them for creating such terrific characters and then casting them with actors who somehow made viewers forget they were watching a fictional drama.  The actors were so believable in their roles that it is sometimes hard to see them on other television shows now that Third Watch is over.  Skip Sudduth as veteran cop John “Sully” Sullivan, Coby Bell as Tyrone Davis, Jr, a rookie cop following in his deceased father’s footsteps, Jason Wiles as the off-the-wall cop Maurice “Bosco” Boscorelli and his partner Faith Yokas as portrayed by Molly Price, Anthony Ruivivar as rookie paramedic Carlos Nieto, Michael Beach as Monte “Doc” Parker, Kim Raver as paramedic Kim Zambrano, Bobby Cannavale as paramedic Bobby Caffey, Eddie Cibrian as firefighter Jimmy Doherty – each one of these actors played their roles with such incredible believability that you found yourself wanting to know more and more about their characters as the show went on.

✿ What Happened In Bali ✿

Title:  What Happened In Bali (Korean Drama)
Genre:  Drama
Broadcast Date:  January, 2004
Total Episodes:  20
Casts:  Ha Ji Won, Jo In Sung, Park Ye Jin, So Ji Sup

Synopsis:

Lee Soo-jung (Ha Ji Won) is a travel agent who is seeking her good luck in Bali after a harsh and unforgiving childhood. She meets Jae-min (Jo In Sung), Kang In-wook (So Ji Sup), and Young-joo (Park Ye Jin) in Bali, three seemingly perfect people entangled in a triangle of love. When Lee Soo-jung finds herself back in Seoul, her desire for success leads her to seek Jae-min for a job, unwittingly setting off a course of events that further complicate the love triangle.

What Happened in Bali is a drama that reveals the inner materialistic desires of people. It reflects upon the sometimes ugly (but truthful) side of man where nothing matters more than money.

Opinion:

The story was intense! I loved it! It's a lot different from the typical romance dramas that Korea provides because it leaves you in suspense. It truly has a deep story and it surely provides a shocking ending. This story isn't one of those "happy ever after" ones, it's very twisted but it left me completely satisfied for not having such a joyous ending. All of the actors and actresses that played in this drama were terrific! They truly performed their characters superbly without any disappointments. Lee Soo-jung (Ha Ji-won) was that optimistic girl who was going to make it in life even though her brother's debts left her begging for employment. Her thoughts and emotions were so well hidden you couldn't really tell what she was thinking towards the end which made the ending all the more shocking.

Jung Jae-min (Jo In-sung) was a younger son of the PAX group CEO whose father beat him inconsiderately when he made bad decisions. He's ignorance and transition from a spoiled brat to a mature adult on the brink of madness was so well played, I must applaud. Kang In-wook (So Ji-sup) received the highest score on the test for the PAX Company which led to promotions and a seat not too far under Jae-min. So Ji-sup's character was very lonely but attractive and his actions in that company are so sly, it's inspiring. You just wouldn't expect him to do something so bold so secretively. The two male leads both performed well in wooing Soo-Jung as well; one treating her with respect and care and the other treating her with money. Choi Young-joo (Park Ye Jin), Jae-min's fiance, truly was a vixen. Her attitude and actions towards the other characters were so pathetic (not a bad thing in the character's case), I just couldn't help hating her (then feel sorry for her…)! The other actors such as the families and friends of the leads are amusing and abusive and play in well for the drama. No complaints what so ever. They all added some zest to the story.

What Happened in Bali is a complete and utter drama. There's romance, twists, jealousy…this drama provides everything that isn't "happy, happy." This drama also makes you think. You can't help but wonder, "What's going to happen?", or "Who's she gonna pick?" You may think you know how it's going to end, but you find yourself wrong !!!

An intense drama can't go without intense music. The background music is very mysterious which goes along well when there's jealousy looming. There are also other songs well suited for a romantic setting and the singers are very good. All in all, I'd have to say there's a very good soundtrack.

What Happened In Bali is not one of those cutesy dramas. There's violence, infidelity, and romance that really keeps you interested regardless of gender. It tackled the dark side of the themes of love, desire, money, and power, and did so in a way that had me riveted to the screen. My mind and heart was so absorbed by these characters and their maddening situation. I stand firm in my own conclusion that while Soo Jung liked both men, she ultimately only loved oneAfter one episode, you really want to know what happens next and once you've completed it all, you're left speechless, stunned with you jaw wide open saying "What?!" in your head.
