Pain

Photo: Pain is a fact of life. Most people have found at least one change they have made in their lives --uncomfortable, or worse. Suffering is only present when we resist these changes. Allow yourself some time to experience what you are resisting, and ask yourself, "How long do I want to suffer?"

Most people will say they do not choose to suffer...that it happened TO them...and it feels bad. Truthfully, you will only suffer for as long as you refuse to accept these changes. When we accept that they are occurring and then**and this is very important** decide what your response will be, you can begin moving out of pain and start to embrace your full power. You are living again, evolving into what you choose to be. -Lisa Villa Prosen
